Hi, sweets!So today Momo and I had a little adventure on the road! After visiting Fleur De Lis, we hit Cineleisure to watch Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging! It was a nice movie - very entertaining; not once did I feel bored or wish the scene would end a little quicker. The setting of the movie was really pretty, very modern fairytalesque. Plus, the storyline was tres cute! It reminded me of the days when I used to bury myself in English teen novels, like Jacqueline Wilson's Girls (In Love / Under Pressure) novels or the Mates & Dates series by Cathy Hopkins, where the lives of teenage girls revolved around girl besties, boys, and, well, snogging. Ah, good times.
It's your typical-but-definitely-not-average teen flick. Think Juno and/or Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist; all have an equally mean storyline and soundtrack which are cute and very indie, unlike movies like Wild Child. Now that I will never ever pay to watch.
So yes! Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging; another enjoyable book-to-movie adaptation. Quirky, smart, clever and fun and giggle-worthy; defo a movie for you and your bestie*! (:
