The birthday girl with her Moody Bear; Nik and Krys

Two days ago, we celebrated Rozie's 20th birthday. We've known each other since we were wee 13-year-old girls, and I count it all joy to have been able to walk through our entire teenhood together! From cheerleading to sports practices, assam laksa and Metro buses - when I look back at how all of us ended up this close, I giggle because it's amazing how different yet similar we are. And now as we all step into our twenties (:O), I can say with full confidence that these are the friends that will still be around even at our own kids' weddings and beyond. Which is another way of saying, we'll be there for each other for life.

me and my not-so-onz skills. twas' tired after the first million arrows la! :p

Just yesterday we decided to channel our inner Legolas and shoot some arrows. It reminded me so much of my all-time favourite scene in LOTR: The Two Towers - when Aragorn shouted to my favourite Elf, "Bring him down, Legolas! Kill him! Kill him!" and shortly after where Legolas slid down the stairs shooting his arrows at the enemies. Um, can someone say, swwoooooonnnn? Hee hee hee! Urm but yeah the fangirl-ness ends there. I wasn't too much of a Lord of the Rings fan.

Anyway. I guess we can safely conclude that while Nik and I are awesome at rock climbing and obstacle courses suspended 22 metres up in the air (we kinda kicked butt at Skytrex last week hehe), Rozie's a true star at archery. We've already almost forgotten how she got tangled in the pipes at Skytrex 'til someone had to rescue her. ;)

xx

That is so nice that you have friends like that, because not everyone gets them. :)
I'm doing good, hating today because tomorrow I have to go back to school. :(
    Have a good day!

I love that you always celebrate and share birthdays with friends. I always forget to get some good photos when I'm at friend's birthdays.
I would love to shoot some arrows. I too love that scene in LOTR. And I'm a huge fan of the books and movies :)

    Have a beautiful week.
